Retro Gaming Recommendations #1
Mischief Makers (N64 1997)
This is a GEM. A side-scrolling platformer that isn't like anything else out there. It has great characters, colorful levels, GREAT boss fights, and is so charming!
I loved this game as a kid, and I highly recommend it.

It's also the game that launched my N64 Challenge because it was so highly requested by everyone.
I was obsessed with the Lil earth guys. I used to try and draw Taran I think it was. Feels like a million years ago
It should be on NSO already;-;
The absolute peak for me is the Cerberus Alpha boss fight though.
SHAKE SHAKE!!
I've got a soft spot for Phoenix Gamma too, but Lunar is definitely my favourite!
Itβs weird to think Iβve 100%βd it in the past cause it just feels awkward picking it up today π
I seem to remember mainly hammering the C-buttons to dash around, but it has been a while. Still not ideal haha.
So many unique levels too, the theme park? dodgeball? Playing as the legendary block manβ’οΈ?
What an underrated gem. π

I lost my original copy ages ago, but I bought a new copy a couple years ago at a good price. I also highly recommend it!
Wonderful game.
Was so cool to see that Smash Remix (Hack for Smash Bros 64) made Marina a fighter.
