Something I just don't get is this weird trend of rooting for a game to fail.
If you aren't interested in something, maybe... don't play it? I don't understand this crusade mentality, like "we have to fight back!"
Nah. You really don't. Just move on and find something you actually do like.

Critics can be a good way to know the bad points of a game and, for the dev, a good way to improve in the future.
But saying the same things over and over without logic other than "i don't like u"? Nah, That's just hate.
“”The reason Dragon Age Veilgard didn’t hit sales goals is because we didn’t make it live service” - EA
There’s is a right way, and a wrong way to hate. Don’t hate devs for being woke, hate them for being greedy soulless cash grabs
What is really being asked for? To jeopardize developers’ livelihoods?
Just don’t buy the game and move on.
The gamers who thought 2018 was shit because of FN are morons.
I never understood the desire to wish for a game's failure, just because I don't like it. It's stupid and petty.
Why would we want less of our hobby??
The only game I wanted to fail was Devil May Cry, and only so they'd make another Chaos Legion <_<
Absolutely no reason to joyfully campaign for something to fail. If anything, hope it improves/changes.
It's frustrating that it's seems like hates overshadowing on people who actually enjoy the game :(
An example of such, is live service games who pushes the "Game as a Service" model to the extreme, and thus making those games look like money printers than love letters.
It's sad to see a promising game just become fodder until it closes.
We should be fighting people who don't wash their hands in the bathroom!
But like... With gloves... Because that's nasty. lol
See- live service schlock
Why would I want to take away happiness from others?
Some people treat games like team sports, as if a game "fails" they somehow feel like they've "won" and experience joy and pleasure from it.
Let people enjoy the games they want to, no reason to bring down others for doing so!
I will never tease anyone for playing a game they love.
I've been seeing this for over 15 years, but it got worse in the last 6 or so yrs.
Veilguard was my GOTY last year ez but I have been met by so many "why?" or "must not have played -insert game-"s and I fucking hate it. It's just a great game dude
That’s how opinions work.
Even if odyssey and persona 5 better imo lol
Because every new success just makes more publishers want to flush another studio down the toilet chasing the trend.
I got more important things to do with my time than moan about games I’m not interested in. Like…idk, playing the ones I like 🤷♀️
It’s one thing to say that the game didn’t need your expectations or that it wasn’t that good, but to say I hope the game bombs is like huh?
Dealing with a video game you don't like is as easy as just not playing it lol if y'all put as much energy into things you like instead of things you hate you might enjoy things more
Hogwarts Legacy? Sure. Superman 64? Not sure why, but knock yourself out. Assassin's Creed Shadows? Hey, have at it.
That's the thing about video games. They're out there for everyone to enjoy, no matter what it is.
Wow, just wow. That's incredible levels of idiocy right there, damn
But then I looked at everything they've ever said, and this is clearly not a concern that has once crossed their minds.
So yes. People can just enjoy the things they enjoy. If you don't, move on and find something you do. It's that simple.
So I can tell them all simultaneously to go and fuck themselves ☺️
As if this world can't be harsh enough without searching for more?!
Because... 👉👈
But I thought you'd stay and watch 👉👈
( I will be cancelled by the end of Friday,I can feel it)
Don't attack the game, attack the industry.
