This was my first Mario Kart ever and I personally really enjoyed it, even if it isn't my favorite entry. It's got a great selection of tracks and a pretty solid roster!

I'm not a fan of Mario Kart period. I saw lot of people want me to play with her and they having fun but i'm always finish last that doesn't help my perception 😅

One of the few Wii games that I really enjoy the motion controls. Liked the racer and track variety. Great entry IMO.

Biggest flaw was that it followed Double Dash and dropped that gameplay gimmick.

It was ugly. The game just felt “dusty,” but damn if it wasn’t fun. Behind MK8, probably the Mario Kart I had the most fun with.

I grew to love it. I wasn't a fan at first, especially in trying to play it with the awful motion controls. But when I gave it a chance, and used regular analog steering, it grew on me. That being said, as a solo experience, it's one of my least-favorite Mario Karts.

The steering wheel was a fun addition but I think the novelty wears off fast. Some good courses but I think Mario Kart peaked with Double Dash. Nothing has ever come close for me. I've still found fun in their titles since, but MKDD was just brilliant. Excited to see the new one!

17 years old? I remember playing this game after school.

But prior to 8 Deluxe and it’s Booster Course Pass, this was my favourite Mario Kart for its fun track designs and strong playable character lineup. Even if it was absurdly difficult at points, this game holds a special place in my heart.

No matter what people think of it, it has the biggest hacking community, with hundreds of custom tracks, some of which are pure art. We always play it a bit, when I meet with my friends for a retrogaming session.

I am but only with a regular controller. My arms get too tired with the motion controls unfortunatey.

There are some cool mods and a whole scene for that too with custom tracks and sort should that be your sort of thing.
