I'm just gonna say it.
The Nintendo Wii is awesome and deserves a lot more love in the Gaming community.
That is all.

The Force Unleashed was best on the Wii even if the graphics were inferior. I played the hell out of that game to get all the collectibles.
I feel like an absolute moron now for getting rid of it years ago. I'll probably hunt down a CIB console to scratch that nostalgia itch.
It remains a weird fad, gimmick console to me.
I gamed on it a few times with the family.
Great times.
The Wii was awesome & appealed to all ages. Even people we knew who mocked & joked about the console, ended up enjoying their experience.
Nintendo's Wii does deserve more praise, even almost 20 years later. There's a wide variety of great games it should be praised for
Nintendo always leading the way creatively
It really bridged a generational gap!
I've still got my WiiU, and I keep trying to find more cool Wii games for it. ^_^
I have fond memories playing games like Spectrobes: Origins, Monster Lab, Mushroom Men: The Spore Wars, among many others
(Even if it was just Wii Sports, but still)
Of all the consoles we've ever owned as a family, the Wii is the one that has brought us all together for a game more than any other.
For me it’s always a must as long as Punch-Out!! isn’t ported to anything else.
Also, unlike the Switch 2, it offered a FREE game for everyone to enjoy. There will never be anything like it ever again.
I had a great time with the Wii and it was sort of the end of all the same couch/room multiplayer days… we used to get together and play all the Wii sports and mini game themed titles (the Rabbids games, Mario Party, Mario sports and Wii Sports… Boom Blox)… I miss those days.
Last year I was saving lives🗿
Sadly was never able to get the gold nunchuk to go with it. (Club Nintendo exclusive, I never had enough coins 🥲💔)
Fair warning, take various breaks when you play any. Each one will likely give you carpal tunnel (I speak from experience after playing 3 of them 😭😂)
In still use mine, modded, so easy to do so and you get all your faves in one place, plus gamecube controllers what's not to love.
It also worked amazingly for 1st and 3rd person shooters if configured correctly
You can thank the Wii for one of the best Jerma moments.
(Now there's other ways, but Wii was first!)

You've got most of them but... Excite truck though!! 👌
I get that the whole selling point of the Wii was motion controls, but sometimes it’s ok to ignore that if it doesn’t make sense. To do a backflip you had to shake the remote in Mario Kart Wii which is annoying if it’s a close race lol.
I feel because of the mainstream adaptation of it, and the abundance of shovelware, it got a bad rap.
But there were so many gems too, it reminds me alot of the PS2 honestly, library wise.
Onslaught and Ghost Squad would be my most obscure Wii recommendations for the day 😊
Doesn't make the Wii bad but I think it made lots of "hardcore" gamers look at it in a dismissive way.
"480p? That's not nearly enough p's"
Silly to let numbers get in the way of fun games😊
Because the Wii was so successful in terms of unit sales, people forget there were still a lot of weird multi-player focused games on the platform that had similar cult followinfs.
