We haven’t done that because civility but in the next admin maybe we should follow Trump/Elon precedent and give Dem billionaires access to personal gun ownership permit data, LLC owners and bank accounts holders, etc because transparency.

I don’t want to be a Debbie Downer but we have to worry about getting these fascists the fuck out of government before we can think about the next president.
But the state interference is where it really hits them where it hurts. No homeschooling without basic credentials , no prayer before football games, no 501c3 status for churches that talk about politics - there are all sorts of federal standards that are not enforced against states that could be
My hometown has taxpayer funded Christian messages all over the place. Feds haven’t gone after them for federal Covid funds being used to upgrade things that benefit electeds instead of covering a need gap for vulnerable people.
If they’re ok with this happening to blue states and Dems they better be prepared for a Dem admin pulling no punches going forward for the sake of bipartisanship. And right now, their bad faith activity *relies* upon that. And to put it bluntly, Boomer leadership keeps proving them right.
Don't understand this. Pulling no punches for the sake of bipartisanship?
Also, can we toss the phrase "going forward" in the trash. It's never necessary. Always makes me ask "As opposed to...?" We have future tense verbs for this purpose.
Ok, I’m with you on the general vibe here…but sadly the Dems won’t pull any punches because they never throw punches. Never. Even when OUR lives depend upon it. Hell, I’d be happy with some jabs and a little slap or something.
But those people aren’t going to be around forever and the younger Dems are starting to assert the power they do have despite blowback from leadership.
If Dems are in “disarray” right now it’s because the people who are willing to fight are at odds with the people who want to wait for process to do its thing
And that’s not disarray; that’s evolution. The future of the party realizes that waiting for procedural shakeouts is wildly ineffective and they’re adapting.
I like where your head is. Maybe an executive order that gun ownership remains perfectly legal, but they all have to be stored at centralized armories?

The disarray belongs to
Schumer and Jeffries
