And it hurts the companies like Waymo, who I feel really are doing it right, by lumping them together... when Tesla's inept "autopilot" fails, people lose faith in a Waymo because they think they're the same thing.

Although he doesn’t emphasize it in the video, those false positives are almost worse. I’ve seen a Tesla go from 70 to 40 on a free flowing interstate because of a bridge shadow.
