The "challenge we have" is Keir's apparent lack of political balls...
To be clear, this is because the Tories f**ked us. Not because Starmer can’t pull a magic wand out.
There’s no current way to rejoin the SM. We need to rebuild our relationship with the EU (which Labour are doing) & mitigate the damage as much as possible (which Labour are doing), before anything else
If one has the balls to fight against the stupid brexiteers and the political courage to stand behind their own values! 👍
How should we gain access to the SM?
Labour still has the same red lines.
Labour still use the same strategies…cherrypicking and divide & conquer. Why we in the EU humour them is beyond me.
They still offer nothing.
How can they be cherrypicking when they haven’t started negotiating yet?
What are you talking about?
How that compares to the angry, unpleasant sniping comments that continue to issue from those who got their way in the Brexit vote.
It is lower taxes (but only for the wealthy), cut public spending (unless it’s heading for an oligarch), free speech (but only for the rabid right), and tight controls on immigration (stay put and die - or just get tortured if yer lucky).
Pure sarcasm!!!
well, hey, I am still just a smoggy 😉!!!
What party is Calum from? He's 100% correct.
They need more votes, they are banking on this stance being a vote winner. I for one hope it is.
I think their stance on the EU is the best, I hope it is a vote winner. Given how divisive Brexit is/was I think they are taking a risk, hence my comment.
