Mother hens, depending on how good they are, will usually stay mothering until the babies are fully feathered (usually 6 weeks or so). But I've got some mothers who insist on sitting on their babies overnight until they're nearly grown!

She gets grain and loves her cracked corn and sunflower seeds in that mix.
