Anxiety = worrying about the future. Depression = worrying about the past. Obviously a hasty generalization. I would add some stoicism quotes, but tl;dr talk to a professional. It's a very common issue most of us face.
It's called being used to a paradigm of external judgment. And, yeah, it's a bitch. It takes work to undo, especially if it's load-bearing (eg. it's being used to self-motivate)
I mean I was fine with "everyone probably hates me" when it was only daily nightmares and I could shake off the feeling in the morning but now I'm walking through my day with it and it lowkey sucks
Frankly I can relate a bit… but every now and then — even from people I’ve expected the least — I receive small/wholesome appreciations. Remembering those little moments helps me cope a lot.
I am so thankful that you share so much of your inner life, helping me and others on our own paths.
I'm sorry you're dealing with that. It sounds awful.
From one random person on the internet to another, you're SO appreciated. I think about you rather often, esp. whenever I consume Rust content or work with Rust.
