Biden promised affordable childcare, universal paid family leave, higher minimum wages, free community college, and more. Those policies would disproportionately benefit women, especially those who make too much to qualify for existing programs but not enough to easily afford paid support. 2/

Creating Dems who are disappointed by the Dem Party insiders is low hanging fruit for conservatives. Especially when Dem Party insiders appear to align more with center right republicans than center left democrats. For example, my Senator Chris Coons aligns with Mitch McConnell more than AOC

The criterion for scored votes is any vote where a majority of a list of 12 progressive senators or 46 progressive representatives vote against a majority of the Republican caucus.

These are votes where the majority of the most progressive senators voted against the republicans, and on that list of votes, he agreed 97%. They’re not window dressing votes. They specifically leave out window dressing votes by definition.

But, most people don't follow politics closely enough to know why Biden didn't keep his promise. Especially moms with young kids at home. Many of the moms I interviewed told me they had put their "head in the sand" and stopped following the news. 4/
