This from the guy who tweeted “Anti-colonialism has been economically catastrophic for the Indian people for decades. Why stop now?" and bollixed an investment in Uber and later stuck his dough in Clubhouse, Flow and a myriad of cryptoduds?

how do we defund him? light the way, kara - besides, not sure how you got lumped in w krugman or bremmer. you're smart, capable, but hardly an economist or ir political scientist. what a dumb thing to say.
Yet tech bros like Andreeson have a loud megaphone and myriad ways to influence the powers that be. All because they picked one winner and was rewarded before they failed
Bremmer is a joke, 3 weeks into the invasion of Ukraine he still claimed Kyiv would fall and Zelensky would be toppled, when it was already clear the Russian army was too weak to accomplish this
Question:
If a smart guy, who we’ll label Mr. A, bats for the average and is critical of a smart guy, who we’ll label Mr. B, because he doesn’t hit 1.000, is it true or not that Mr A. has revealed that he doesn’t know jacksh*t about how the world f*cking works outside of Silicon Valley?
Discuss.
The list is endless since he’s Silicon Valley’s patron saint of being frequently wrong, but never in doubt. And as a genetic predisposition, even though sometimes brilliant, always cruelly obtuse.
The guy who got pwned by Microsoft after accusing them of being overly proprietary - which they accomplished by building a more standards compliant browser with fewer proprietary tags.
I'm always struck by his ignorance *in his own field*. The right wing nonsense offends the socialist me, sure. But the ignorance about semi-conductor investment, for instance, offends the capitalist in me. Like dude, it's your job to know this stuff!
He’s the Baby Huey of perpetually aggrieved SV moguls, who are never happy despite billions and cannot endure an ounce of legit criticism. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FeWsuYvk96g
100% slam dunk on point analysis of Baby Huey and clones he spawned. They aren’t exceptional humans, they just have no sense of risk and were born white and able bodied and male into an era with amazing opportunity, yet only credit their “hard work” and brains to their success.
There's a big difference between "not predicting the regime to fall this quickly" and someone *confidently explaining to you why it wont*.
If you're paying attention to the latter guy, you're wasting your time. He doesn't know what he doesn't know. Or he's a grifter.
You are a sharp stick, poking those who need a set down, and that is just one reason I love you. By the way, you and Lulu were the best thing about Chris Wallace's show on CNN.
Indeed. Just because you had success once, doesn't mean you're smart. Could have been dumb luck. I had the same idea for FaceBook 10 years AFTER it was created. What if I was way older? Would I be Zuck? What if Blockbuster bought Netflix when they had the chance?

Bros who code don't seem to understand that writing computer algorithms that make you super rich does not give you knowledge beyond 8 bits.

- you know who, 2013
(I'm listening to your book; great stuff.)
After Netscape, what has he really accomplished?
He shark tanked the Silicon Valley start-up scene in the early 2000’s had a few wins and many more losses, you know venture investing 101.
Like ok these guys made one good thing and are know it all geniuses forever?
Trump will take us to a tipping point. Where we go will be the interesting but maybe horrible future.
