But I am socially awkward. With a lot of effort I write something. I mostly like and post what I am starting to read. But leaving a review as if I am some kind of expert, a voice of authority, I feel that that is out of my expertice.
I am thrilled with any sort of review, whether it be just stars, or a couple of 'OMG I loved this' sentences, or several unhinged paragraphs of feedback. Trust me, authors will be delighted, and readers will find anything like that helpful :D
Don’t be intimidated. You can click 4 stars, 5 stars, whatever and leave it at that. Or you can just write 1-2 sentences. There’s no need to write a 2000 word book review like it was an eight grade English assignment.
Speaking of, look what I found last week! That brings me to WHY DOESN’T AMAZON SHARE REVIEWS FROM VERIFIED-PURCHASES EVERYWHERE REGARDLESS OF REGION? I don’t go to UK Amazon very often, you know? Anyway, that review made my day!
I read primarily on my Kindle and I always leave a star vote on every book I read. I read most of my comics on the Kindle app on my Android tablet. I always leave a starred vote on all of them.
BTW Your Red Sonja Omnibus was on Kindle Unlimited. I enjoyed the hell out of it.
Slight alteration:
1) buy one of their books from an independent bookstore. If you cannot afford to buy the book, check it out from your local library
2) read the book
3) leave a review online
4) tell your friends how much you enjoyed the book and encourage them to buy & read the book
