They've been around for almost 30 years but I don't think I've ever deliberately pressed the Windows key on more than five occasions. Four of those will have been in the nineties too.

Never used to use it, but now use it at least a dozen times a day. Pro tip - hit it twice when the task bar refuses to just fuck off, and it will, finally, just fuck off. Absolute revelation when i was told this.
For what it's worth, we have a setting so PrintScreen starts a snip rather than just taking a full screen screenshot. In Windows 11 it's enabled by default now, but in Windows 10 the setting is there too - it's under Ease of Access > Keyboard
You just know someone in Microsoft was looking at a Mac keyboard and thought “They’ve got a command key, we should have one too” but then didn’t bother doing anything useful with it.
Can't agree less. Windows key + arrows to quickly snap stuff around the screen and Windows key + r to open the run box and quickly get to device manager or disk partitioning are just a couple shortcuts I can't live without in Windows.
Not a fan of Windows _but_ just tapping the Windows key and then typing what I want to run is a really cool feature. They probably stole it off Macs but now Linux does it as well so we're all winners...
“Windows + v” for your clipboard history - game changer , “Windows + .” for the emoji keyboard, perfect for sending a 👍🏼 reply to long rambly convoluted emails

My contribution: Windows and E brings up the Explorer file manager, use it all the time.
I'm going to leave it alone methinks!😁
But of course, thank you😘
Win + R to run
Win + Shift + S for screenshots
Multiple times a day!
