It’s a trash show, but trash shows can keep the brain off for a bit. They serve a purpose. The problem with THIS trash show is that it is also BORING asf, so the brain turns back on and one is forced to think again. Wait…why in the hell do people watch that show!?!

I watched 2 seasons. I'm in my late 60's. To me it was like, watching how bad I sucked at dating back in my day. What's interesting to me, is you get to see how both sexes feel so vulnerable. It also helped me feel good about where I am in life. I'm just me now.

I think the first season had the best balance/intrigue for the pod dating sequence. Later seasons focused on individual couples building their relationship rather than some of the zanier things that happened before then. Each season has 1 or 2 completely unpredictable "wtf" people on them tho.

I will skip portions of it while watching - usually the pods make for good viewing, then the honeymoon episodes, then if there's nothing really happening skip through to the weddings. Most relationships seem to fail because they're just not a good couple but each season has some grade A weirdos.

Depends on the season. Check out the British one on Netflix, it’s a slightly older cast and they bring more maturity and depth to it, less trashy drama, more actually interesting human interaction
