Yesterday. Haven't seen the show, read the books, or anything that would tell me most of the story. Took me a minute to be ready to get up at the end. 💚🩷
Literally just got back from it. Was even better than I expected which is wild because it was getting crazy good reviews and scores. The climax is just outstanding top to bottom. And Ozdust, yeah.
You have a good reason to be this is honestly one of the best musicals I’ve ever seen and yes, it is over the top, but for this story and characters, it needs to be over the top like you don’t complain that Kurosawa films are too artfully staged
