I big part of peoples dislike of tepig was people being sick of the fire/fighting starter, and I think even though that has gone away people have held onto the feeling with tepig
You weren't there in 2010. People fucking DESPISED every single Pokemon in Black and White. It's actually kinda crazy now how time has marched forward and everyone loves Unova now when the hate was so intense then.
tepig is adorable, not as cute as mimiku, the pokemon who hide their eldrich form in a pikachu costume because they want to be loved, but adorable nonetheless.
