Yeah Get Out was more of a suspense/thriller type horror, while Hereditary was something. Don’t watch Midsommar either. It doesn’t wait for the last 5 minutes to bring its A game.
Even just hearing secondhand about stuff is enough for me sometimes. I have never read or watched any version of IT but do I think about it every time I walk by a storm drain? Probably!

This is also my wife. I'm fine with some, but jump scare type stuff is a hard pass. I can handle it, but I have enough anxiety without artificially increasing it.
