the team is, arguably, but only very recently, and only because of the timewasting and theatrics. as a club it's absolutely nowhere near is it? liverpool and united are loathed up and down the country because they have national and international fanbases whereas arsenal and city don't.
It doesn't matter what fans think, it's the players/coaches etc. who are pissed off with those theatrics you mention and raise that 5-10%. We can beat disgruntled fanbases
i think it's rooted in the superior attitude arsenal have had towards other clubs in the past, the years where opponents were hardly allowed to tackle them, the notion they played superior football to their rivals even when they weren't objectively that good a side. the mid-late wenger years, etc.
