Sorry but this argument about cheaper alternatives is a busted flush. It costs much more, maintenance is nearly impossible and ultimately discourages people to go green through higher bills.

These schemes should be community led. We ‘all’ want and need green power. But £250 when landscape and environment are destroyed or at least compromised at the expense of residents - both current and future, for the benefit of shareholders isn’t going to end well. Residents need a vested interest.
