What I can’t figure is why conferences don’t refuse to participate if the independents get all $$. Revenue sharing should be if you want to be independent and play weak schedule that’s fine, but you get a share equal to the highest paid conf champ, not all natty $.
(though an expanded SEC/B1G playoff might have featured South Carolina this year and...you're not going to NOT get me to go along with it based on that)
I can't really go to bat for G5 teams here because they'd just get annihilated 98% of the time, there's a solution but begging for another spot just to get waxed on national television by the fifth best team in the Big Ten ain't it
3 SEC, 3 Big Ten, 1 wild card from SEC/Big Ten ... 5 bids for ACC/Big 12, 1 G5, and Notre Dame (or best available team if Notre Dame somehow does not fit). 14 teams, only top 2 conf champs get byes
but yeah in football the guy on the other side with the money and resources can afford to literally swamp you with waves of superior weight and power, worst game of Risk ever
Risk is more NFL-coded because of all those roman numerals and way-too-broad geographic descriptions like "New England" Patriots and "Carolina" Panthers.
CFB is where you go to find all the directional Michigans and where people get up in arms when Southwest Missouri State renames itself
After 50 seasons of playing CFB 2025 on dynasty mode and tweaking things to my liking, I’ve devised a pro/rel system that destroys rivalries, conferences, and all that CFB holds dear. In short, it works perfectly.
I really hope we get the 4 guaranteed berths for the Big Ten so that we can potentially have a year like 2022 where the fourth best Big Ten team was 8-6 Purdue. I’d love to see a team barely over .500 making it over FSU or Miami.
