The American electorate new that Republicans are anti-science yet that's who they chose to be in charge of the U.S. government.

Hopefully, we can change the electorate's minds about the value of science before our next election.

I’d hold off a couple weeks before panicking…I mean, there are *lots* of legit reasons to panic about other stuff, but we need a bit more info before we know what will happen to grant agencies.

But if I had to bet, my money would be on this turning out to be very bad for social scientists.

So uh quick question. Isn't money already allocated for these programs via legislative process? What do any of these have to do with carrying out the law of the land? Seems like over reach to me. But if this is the case dems will just cave anyway
