It strikes me as incredibly interesting how much more attention and care the powers that be (media, police departments, politicians) give to rich people who die compared to everyone else.

It’s also funny because people are submitting fake tips to the police. They are on a wild goose chase.
I don't think they deserved to die, and I found it interesting how much attention and care was paid to their circumstances versus other circumstances.
IMO that's where capitalism leads to dehumanization, because every life matters, regardless of one's tax bracket.

That same thinking can be used to strip people of rights while they’re still living. You could say they’re too poor to be worthy of care and dignity.
