Well, a police officer isn't a democratically elected official but he can still arrest you, as can legally any private citizen if you're breaking the law besides Musk is just like any other political appointee, appointed to do a job by those that are elected.
the more the courts stop him, the more he starts to sound like an addict cosplaying a comic book villain, and in that sense alone, the courts are helping. The shock will wear off soon, and the awe won't be the variety he hoped for.
More than “technically” a private citizen: he is a private citizen. He’s not a government official in any way, shape, or form and has zero authority over anyone. (Maybe Mehdi shouldn’t have spent so much time dumping on Dems, and helping to get him elected.)
Maybe he should arrest himself since I'm pretty sure he's in violation of The Privacy Act of 1974 - "a federal law that protects people from having their personal information collected, used, and disclosed without their consent. The act applies to records kept by federal agencies"
Like a cancer, Dirtbag Donnie is spreading his corruption denialism to other elected officials. The most corrupt administration in the 249-year history of our nation.
