Talking about meteorites today which is my excuse to go to the department collection and pull out some of my favorites. Check out this amazing Fukang pallasite. (Pallasites are rare and have both iron and olivine/peroxide much as if they came from the core-mantle boundary of an exploded mini planet)

What's the minimum size for a differentiated interior?
Given that, do we think all of the pallasites came from the same parent body? (Or from Pallas, given the name?) I know they are rare, but it seems like rocky bodies of that scale would be very rare too!
