LOST ended, the Lost podcast I listened to started talking about Survivor but then went behind a paywall so I searched for an alternative.

Fast forward a few years, I got to write the theme music to TEOS, met my wife Megan through RHAP, and we have two wonderful kids, both named Rob*!

It was through First One Out for HHH. I had heard of RHAP but hadn't checked it out yet. Big Survivor fan since day one, and big fan of Rob. So when someone posted about First One Out on social media I decided to give it a try. Now I'm a patron

Jan 2016... Followed Jeremy on Twitter like the filthy casual that I was, and he tweeted out his post-Cambodia deep dive with Rob. Had a 45-minute commute at the time, and was instantly subscribed and hooked.

I was on the bird app that shall not be named in the spring of 2010 and realized I could look for and follow my favorite Survivors. Rob, obviously my fav, was tweeting about his new podcast so I decided to check it out (especially since he was also podcasting about Lost too) and have never stopped.

Watched Survivor from Day 1. Loved. Got married in 2000, used theme song as recessional. Published a book Aug '11, including interview with Yau-Man. In Oct, heard Rob guest on an ESPN podcast, so I reached out. He'd heard of me and got me on RHAP. First of many... but (ahem) been a minute, Rob. LOL.

You know how people will say they knew about a stock ten years ago but didn't act on it? I regularly watched Jcarver's poker streams in ~2014. He often talked about #RHAP due to the Run It Up Reno connection. I loved Survivor but had no clue what a podcast was. (1/2)

I rediscovered Survivor in grad school in 2012, but had no friends watching with me to talk to about it! When I eventually stumbled upon RHAP in 2015, it quickly felt like you and Rob were my friends 😅 Beyond regular pods, the absolute goofiness of TEOS got me through some v long hours in the lab!

I watched Survivor from the beginning, albeit casually sometime after 2009 but junked back in full binge style during Covid and started discovering the online community and #RHAP and never looked back. This community is wonderful. Rob was one of my original favs.
