Way to go! That's a lot better than my first. Charlie Craven has a book "Basic Fly Tying" which is amazing. Very in depth, step by step. Each fly utilizes a specific skill and they build on each other.
Thank you for the recommendation. There were definitely a lot if things that were harder then I thought technique wise for the first fly. I will see if I can find a copy. Ill keep practicing so hopefully I can have my own small box for late spring!

We'd buy a few flies when in to see the shop run by Fran Betters (creator of the Ausable Wolf). Other than that, Dad supplied us for decades.
