Me too. I don't get out as much as I used to. My wife needs some extra care, so these conversations generally inform me since public news is so dreadful. I used to do volunteer work with libraries and benevolent groups, but I found myself surrounded by some very conservative minds in my age group.

I looked up the meaning of the name "Cocker," wondering if its origin could related to "Dick" and "Peter." Turns out a "cocker" was someone who stuffed hay into "cocks". When you see actual "hay cocks" it all makes sense. Anyway glad to know someone else in the Beautiful Cocker club.
