Yeah. I deactivated my X account a few days ago. Hoping for some more big accounts to move over. Wonder how long before UK politicians have to move over. How can they stay on X, which has now basically become a state run social media platform.

Faisal Islam is also a great addition to the eXodus to BlueSky, even if both still keep a foot in both camps. Only question is will Musk expel them and the rest of us before we voluntarily close our accounts. #Newsnight

Just because #Newsnight's already had its first debate on BlueSky, that's no reason for you not do give us an update. Same goes for @faisalislam.bsky.social. I want more people here and I'm pretty sure you do too. My guess is most UK journalists would be grateful if you could accelerate the process.
It’s almost as if people have had enough of an oligarch who bought himself a huge megaphone so he could use it to support a would-be dictator, and to discredit the press, scientists, research organizations, the electoral process, and all the institutions necessary for a functioning democracy 🤔
We need a British starter pack and also I hope Bluesky can have UK team. Back in the day TwitterUK is what helped prioritise British ideas otherwise blue sky risks just becomes a US only site
