Problem is we’ve been pussy footing around while countries actively have whole office buildings dedicated to attacking every fabric of society on both sides. We needed to take it as serious as a troops marching 10 years ago.

The problem of our age isn't liberal democracy.

It's structural-demographic forces that have kickstarted a chain reaction that destabilizes all form of society democratic or otherwise.

Acute in the US & UK.

France has seen instability mainly due to generational demographics alone. 1/2

Idk if it's "liberal democracy" per se but the weak guardrails of the US Constitution when it comes to persecuting/prosecuting attempted insurrectionists.
