Excellent point. With human trafficking so prevalent, this opens the field to being grabbed right off the street and no one stepping in to prevent it. Is it ICE? Is it something else? Who knows? This allows predators a free reign and no accountability to the government that has allowed it happen.

Justin, this is why I hate no knock warrants. Wouldn't any armed citizen shoot when they hear someone breaking into their home? Officers and homeowners have both wound up dead. It is just stupid.

The risk is to the general public and the LEOs. There is already mistrust, and it's easy to find bad actors. So they would best operate in the amount of transparency that particular role requires. We're not transporting someone to high security prison or doing a covert operation here, or are we...?

That is why this is crucial to both, the person being arrested, and the LEOs. So that it is fair for both parties, and for distinction from alternative protocol in potentially high risk situations (these should be clearly defined), IMO.
