I just covered that indicator on my car up with lipstick. No more check oil warning light for me. Problem solved.

Something every kid should know since young...
Oil light coming on does not mean "drive it home, forget about it, get some oil later".
It means "engine damage occurring right now, STOP THE CAR, and ADD OIL!"
Just pronounced a Civic dead, for being driven for A WEEK with the oil light on. *facepalm*
