I personally am not interested in Moyes being an ex manager. That was another context. I want in the short term 18 months what he gave West Ham. Friedkin's see this appointment as a platform. This is a means to and end. Not the goal for the club. I am all in. No sentimentality just get us top half.

Moyes is here to keep us up this season and then gradually improve the squad and bring much needed stability whilst the owners acclimatise.
The 2.5 year contract fully reflects that.
It would help if the fans could realise that and get on board.

Unfortunately can see splits in fanbase over him, going to struggle to have everyone behind him, which will create issues . Will be interesting to see if he can improve some of these average players that Dino dyche couldn't.

Fair point Dave. Wouldn’t have been my choice but now he’s here I’ll support him although I can see why some wouldn’t. But we just can’t have
any more of the managerial shit we’ve had for too long. And now kenwright has gone he might be more adventurous. Hope to God he is. But time will tell

That said, I hope his way of thinking has changed and he’s a lot more ambitious. Surely he isn’t the fatalist he was against the so-called bigger teams.
And let’s not have the ‘plucky little Everton’ lark of old. Please God it’s time this club strived to live up to its motto. It’s been too long
