the public is hungry for new and fresh stories but they are too afraid to take a risk and lose money.
They need to lowers the budgets, cinema needs the low cost movies that usually gets dumped on streaming nowadays

it’s pretty disturbing, so be prepared. Maybe watch it at home? Having the option to take your time between the scenes could be helpful

That's just this year. All the original movies get nominated for Oscar's and people turn their noses up saying "why don't they nominate movies people actually see"? Why didn't they go see these if they want original content.
action-blockbusters / animated movies are what the public wants to see at theaters
They just do not pull that same audience
