I really hope the next government has no SPD.. Among the mainstream parties they are by quite some distance the worst when it comes to this.
Any other combination of parties would be preferable.

Again, that totally disregards German domestic politics or the things the CDU right now spouts, which is completely Anti-Green, they pretty much are excluding the possibility of a coalition. The only viable alternative would be the SPD.

How much of that support is due to rather than despite Scholz? He's been accused for 2+ years of preventing/stalling deliveries of heavy weapons & long range missiles to Ukraine, which is what it most needs. Recently he resumed talks w/ Putin, undermining the pact to isolate him.

Yes I do. But sending AA Tanks with ammo in homeopathic amounts or obsolete Leo 1 tanks or announcing help over and over again that arrives months later makes just nice numbers. And the distance from Germany to the frontline is 1.000 miles, to the US its 5.000. I see some kind of urgency.
