Aircraft, tanks, artillery, ammo, everything should have been maximized for Ukraine.

Fuck America.
The EU on its own would be spending more at that level than the US is today, and with far greater focus.
If the deal is we're allied only as long as we are so equipped and prepared that we have not the slightest need for allies, then it's decorative at best.
