I understand his motivations but I hope he realizes that by surrendering to our first fascist president, he has hurt the journalistic profession and the rest of us.
As it is, news articles are interrupted every paragraph by RELATED or an advertisement that makes reading articles almost impossible. It's almost as if they don't want to be read. And, then the side columns, both left and right, are crammed full of ads.
Yea, that bugs me too. I find that’s most common with local news outlets, clickbait traps and other free sites. None of the news sites I subscribe to have that intrusive ad clutter.
Be like Bill Owens; be like the WaPo editorial staff; be like the nameless journalists everywhere who speak truth to power. Be willing to walk away from your life’s work because integrity IS your life’s work. Be like them and stand against fascism.
Allowing the gov't to tell the media what stories they can NOT print or air is just one step from them telling media what they WILL report. A propaganda nation is on the horizon.
They’ll settle, everyone caves to Trump, he’ll claim victory, and be emboldened to do this more. No media organizations are hastening our devolution into fascism. Sad times. 😔
these fucking idiots bowing down to this dictator is fucking sickening, by idiots I mean CBS, CNN too is unwatchable now they don't report the actual news, congrats this is how you crowd a king. you know the thing you fought for independence from. I guess it comes around full circle huh...

Is this the same Axios that succumbed to Gulf of America? 🖕
"The Gulf of Mexico"
It sucks, but I get the logic.
What are you so afraid of?
Whatever it is, I promise that your cowardice will ensure that all you fear will come to pass.
And you’d avoid all of it by doing what every 8-year old knows: when confronted by a bully, punch him in the nose.
Rest in Peace, CBS.

At your peril if you do.
