Did you know that Canada is a world leader in tulip production?
Had the pleasure of finding some of Vanco Farms (link below) fields while driving the backroads of PEI.
A beautiful sight to behold ππ¨π¦ππ·β€οΈ

At any rate, I wish all a peaceful weekend and thank you for stopping by π
I'm here all week.
Putting on my bucket list.
PEI is over 4,400 km as the crow flies from where I live in Canada.

"I did not know that"
Never knew that
Its called the Canada 150 Tulip
(I got this image from google, I seen these tulips IRL before though)
I do order tulip bulbs from Veseyβs in PEI (Iβm in BC)
Other countries under the boot of American Fascists should take note.

I have no faith the US government will ever accept this notion. It's been effective propaganda against its own citizens for decades.π₯΄
And you won't have to kiss anybody's butt or pretend that Canada is the Greatest Nation On Earth. π€ͺ
Thanks.
Seriously, tulips are lovely! π·π·π·
So distant 4th, maybe?

Yeah, but dont be fooled. Not even the next top 10 producers combined can hold a candle to NL tulip production.
βDutch farmers produce between 8.5 and 9 billion flower bulbs annually, but this figure is only a rough estimate as it depends on weather conditions. The Netherlands is by far the worldβs leading flower bulb producer.β

Can you imagine doing a road trip and just buying a handful at each farm?
Speaking of flowers, I had the good fortune of visiting Butchart Gardens in BC one year. Never have I ever seen so much garden beauty in one place! Magnificent!
(I must come to fix it ...
& maybe stay 100 yrs)

I don't think tulip farmers planter these huge rows for the pictures, and these aren't cut retail flowers.
I would guess, I dunno, I just always wonder why they do it this way.
God bless Canada

Maybe they mad at the misinformation, but certainly not threatened xd
Ten thousands people from the Netherlands migrated to Canada in the 50s. After the war.
Looking northward ... what the heck happened to THAT mountain?! It looks as if Morgoth just blew the top off of it!
Hmmm....ribeye....

I figure they still got a way to go before the Dutch feel threatened. Where do you think Canada gets their tulips?
The tulips are amazing. π¨π¦
Nice fact: the Netherlands do send a lot of tulip bulbs to Canada each year.
This because Canada did a lot to free the Netherlands during WWII and the then Crown Princess (later Queen Juliana) stayed in Canada during the war.
Always respect Canada for this
