I don't know, I don't have a twitter account. The only time I go on it is to check people that are only on it but I cant even do this anymore cause I need a account.
As for the fanaticism, I think that most people are tired of what twitter has become since the buyout.
He's a tech editor. He makes a living. Twitter was one of the better sites to keep up to date with stuff before Bsky blew up. It's a lot more usable now but you'd been lucky to get 10% of your audience a year ago.

X(exTwitter)is still what always was, there are varieties of users, it's not fair to stigmatize a platform for some violent lunatics who only dare to be so from cowardly anonymity. Hopefully the same thing will not happen in the mirror here on BSky, could be avoided? I think not, in any place...
It's not just militancy or fanaticism for the sake, X made many controversial updates and also has the same general issues of many social media, like depending of the algorithm, engagement farming etc
All that you indicate is an irreversible architecture of social networks, in general not only X, which prioritize confirmation biases to achieve greater loyalty. We'll have to resign ourselves to it, it's foolish not to recognize it opposing the phenomena. Adaptation, resignation.
I'm not gonna be eelon's defender, he's a powerful man and can defend himself, that said, in X you read, see and hear all kinds of things and nothing or anyone is cancelled/banned yet, up to this point. How will it be in the future? Wdk.
I think it’s an Asus. I have one as my second at work and I love it! I work in accounting and it’s great for spreadsheets and financial journals. (And having multiple chat windows😁)
I do hope more companies make a presence on here. I’m just trying out Bluesky and I’m noticing a few outlets I follow post much less updates here vs. X
Oooh, do you know what monitor you have? I'm gonna be upgrading to a proper PC setup (been on my laptop since 2016) and wanna get a second monitor for portrait viewing. Looking for recommends.
