I've had folks ask me if they should still shop at Target.
You gotta do what's right for you. I haven't shopped at Target in well over a year, ever since they removed Pride merch.
Folks may call that a boycott if they wish. I call it giving my money only to businesses who value me as a customer.

I almost never give Chick Fil A money either, but sometimes I give in. My kid loves Chick Fil A and I love my kid. 🤷🏻♀️
No more for me.

town because there is an independent business that sells the spool of thread I need.
Remember this, my own belief and quote…”Not all who are human are humane.” - me
We be Shaq's Big Chicken folks.
Target could be moving in the same direction as Kmart or Sears.
That being said, I still shop at Walmart. I'd love to quit, but literally can't afford to. If a left leaning store were as cheap, I'd switch in a second. I live on less than 900 a month. I can only afford so much pickiness.
There should be no shame if you can't do that- for whatever reason. Mobility, cost, and availability of specific needs all play a part.
I’m so old, I still boycott Exxon.
No Amazon
Funny how that works
When you kiss the orange mushroom
You turn into a douche bag
If you want to keep supporting the oligarchy.... do you.
I don’t miss it.
I get more items at Costco and try to order directly from companies that are inclusive
Not a chance in hell.
And I shop small/local/no Amazon. I respect people’s decisions for doing what they can when they can.
Sigh. @bsky.app we really could use an edit button out here! 🙄
Then turned back on friends.
Shop not just at stores valuing me, but valuing friends, too.
That has stuck with me and keeps me quite conscious of where my dollars are spent.
You don't owe them the privilege of your consumerism.
It is Solid!! in this democracy to vote with both your ballot & your wallet.
Kudos 👏👏👏
Understand, Target: we defended you, we said you were better than WalMart, that you were different, but you don't appreciate your long-term customers, so screw you, you deserve to go bankrupt.
You can send that to the chairman.
We know crap when we see it. They blew it big time.

She isn't evil. I guess she's doing penance as she heads up now a local adult supervision non-profit for people with mental disabilities.
I know another high level Target person who says it's horrible right now.
I miss it sometimes but I’ve managed alright.
Your president has declared war on the world - I can’t reward that behaviour
Vote with your wallet!
This applies to all issues.
Don't give your money to companies that will use that same money to undermine democracy.
No one needs to agree. This is my opinion.
They are doing the best they can, considering what is going on.
But also I’m in the Bay Area?
Obviously they were pandering to LGBTQ folks and then stopped pandering when they felt it was inconvenient. Or rather started pandering to the Christian right instead

These look cool don’t they?🤣
I don't shop at places that have values I don't like. sometimes its difficult and I am really thankful that Costco is a good guy or I would be in trouble.
