Mostly, it just strikes me that the people who remain the best at winning tough elections (Golden, Gallego, MGP) are approaching this very differently, and are attacking Elon Musk for ripping apart the US government without sounding hysterical in the process, even if hysterics are warranted.

It’s a big mistake to confuse the two.
They're trying to disassemble institutions that may resist them. Stopping that (now, not in 2027) may call for a different strategy than appealing to low-info PA swing voters
They need attention-grabbing stunts, pseudo-events, constant presence in media
And Gallego is doing the same, and not in staid language.
So surely it's not so cut-and-dry?
Like, I get it that Trump and Elon firing all of these people and causing all of this havoc is awful but if 50% of the country only cares about stuff they see & feel in their everyday life....🤷♂️
