I don't want a tax cut. I want a functioning welfare state.
I want Australians to not live in poverty.
I want universal healthcare.
Better education.
That's what my taxes should be for.

Capital Investors abroad & here, aim to profit. Instead of working for our own needs & our dependents, we are forced to work 1/3 of the day for ourselves & 2/3 of the day for the businesses. $33/hr for me, $99/hr from me to the company
Could these be done better? Of course! More could always be done. But please don't ignore what has and is being done.
Sadly though, I think the core value days are gone. Australia just won't wear it, as shown by Shorten's loss
I think younger Australians are keen for this kind of change. The politicians will soon have to listen!
I live with my family, wife + 1, below the poverty line in Australia but We're seriously wealthy compared to folk who struggle through life.
If you're wealthy stop being wealthy and support the poor. Simple.
Greedy societies only care about the accumulation of wealth - me, me, me, me, damn the sick children, damn their little minds, damn the poor, etcetera.
Just #TaxTheRich
Would just rather see the budget be spent on the welfare state - raising the rate, building public housing, universal healthcare (including dental and mental). This would save Australians more $$$.
Though I guess we could tax giant corporations and fossil fuel orgs!
Going from centrelink to PhD stipend poverty to a full time lecturer gig and six figure income is wild.
We need to raise the bloody rate!
