@bsbibotany.bsky.social when I saw this at base of wall in Daventry Northamptonshire one species jumped out straight away Malling toadflax Chaenorhinum origanifolium. Looking on the web of its leaves it's looking promising

Many thanks. Wild flowers of Britain Facebook page with botanists on there saying the same. Then that means Daventry is the only Northamptonshire site for Malling toadflax

We will get there in the end. I dont know how many plant records from me there will be but its more than 2000 i would say. But many thanks to @richardmabbutt.bsky.social whos doing a great job
I feel like one of those Monks that had to write out the bible before the days of the printing press. If only the BSBI app would allow me to embelish the margins with the relevant taxa in gold leaf.
