I don't care how much people bitch about it; we're going to need them. New beginnings can't be implemented without widespread approval.
That doesn't mean *working with them*; it means recognizing popular support is essential to a mandate and the implementation of meaningful change.
Within a decade, no one is going to be "proud" of their support of this. Except of course for the people who believe Trump is god.
They want some imaginary ying/yang government where the parties balance each other while in denial that's impossible with the GOP.
Democrats should have purged the crunchy granola woo crowd long ago.

It's a chemical!
It's from coal tar!
SLUDGE! POISON!
People are intolerant to it! It's killing us!
But no, turmeric is NATURAL, and thus GOOD!
When people argue for "natural immunity" they're saying, "I am a fucking idiot". The objective is to avoid the illness!
so many otherwise reasonable people looking to fucking RFK Jr. for help is so disheartening.
The crazy thing is, Goldberg was right, just for the exact opposite reason he claimed.
In fact, organic food is fascist because it promotes distrust in scientific progress and distrust in the government.
That’s the bomb.

Wake me when they call their senators/congressional reps to complain & join a protest.
Otherwise, better than even odds these “low info voters” give up on 2026 elections. Saying ‘Not my thing’.
