if a million dollars magically fell from the sky I'd be set for life. if ten million dollars magically fell from the sky i could fix the problems of pretty much everyone i know. it's a stunning waste of resources giving money to the rich.

what’s interesting is that this pattern plays out everywhere we just decide to give money to those who need it- they tend to do a pretty good job spending it.
It’s the superwealthy who tend to go out and spend all the money we give them on drugs and crime.
If half a million dollarydoos fell from the sky, I'd be set for the next 5 years with food and shelter and be able to get my life and finances on the best track I can see for the foreseeable future.
i want to clarify that this is just using the interest and returns on investment from the sky money. i would never have to dip into the principal amount. if i played it safe for a while i could effectively double the money in a few years.
many of the problems in people's lives tend to be one time, fixable with money. and then once they're fixed the stupendous money machine can just keep rolling and eventually i can fix a whole communitys problems
I’ll let multi millionaires go for now but billionaire should not exist and they are not morale. I don’t care which one you pick anyone sucking up that much resource is not a good person as I define it.
There are people who have money that they don't need, don't use and will never even pay any attention to who could feed every starving person on the planet. But they don't.

Never ending pit!

So that’s basically 70 people you could give a break for a year while they work on personal stuff (health, self improvement, personal projects, etc.)
That’s a huge impact on any small community
I was going to delete but I should own my shame
I live in a wealthy country, but with low rent and decent healthcare. By the standards of income here, I’m living in poverty.
So, set for life.
