And more renewable energy as public art! Here's an example of a 350 kW community solar installation designed by artist Riccardo Mariano for the City of Houston. More examples in the link.
Oh man, I was excited until I saw the units. 350 kilowatts would be a large installation. 350 kilowatt hours per year is... not. That's equivalent to like one or two solar panels.
Unfortunately NIMBYs will complain about "all the crime (implied criminality of being young and in public)" of people using public infrastructure as intended.
