It’s what I’m calling the updated iPadOS. It looks just like what I expect macOS to look and function if it had touch capability. It’ll be interesting to see how much of the reimagine windowing and toolbar stuff comes to macOS over time.

I’m into it although there will be the inevitable pushback. ipadOS is moving much closer to macOS. Lots of handy local ai model integrations. Spotlight on macOS is getting more like Alfred/Raycast. Overall though it’s good imho. 👍

It was a lot of meh.

Two things I like:

1. Native container framework for macOS. I hope this means I can ditch Docker Desktop when it lands.
2. visionOS widgets and app placement persistence across sessions.
