Europe has slightly different standards and nomenclature. N95s are the same as FFP2.
They say N95s should be fit-tested but that's not necessary for us plebes if you have a tight-fitting mask and squeeze the plastic/metal nose band.

N95. The term respirator is used to differentiate an N95 from a regular mask (like a blue surgical mask) that while better than nothing is not that effective in preventing airborne viruses.

Absolutely. I just for example got it from a healthcare worker I live with, when masking was still requisite at work. When it's all over the place... we should at least do what we can do, just isn't foolproof.

Nothing is 100% but wearing an N95 is pretty close.I have not gotten Covid and I don't have a well functioning immune system. I am in hospital a lot. I have been exposed by HCWS.

Funny, same here! Social anxiety leading to agoraphobic isolation. Barely left for errands. Fully masked, sometimes more.

COVID 3 times that I know of, with vax. It probably made me less sick, but other health left me vulnerable.

I’m sorry you got sick! It’s really hard right now because so few people are even trying to mitigate so there’s alot more virus going around. I upgraded to a fitted N99 and eye protection for hospital visits just for extra layers.
