Don’t do it. I’ve never watched the tv show or the movie. I read the book. Why would I need someone else’s interpretation of what I read and played out in my head as I read it?
The book and movie were about my alma mater, but I never watched the show. However, that particular storyline was based on a true story from the early 2000's -- before I made it to high school. It was a big deal in town and a bunch of people knew his name. They probably still do.
well 1) stick with it, it’s excellent. The second season got ruined by the writers’ strike so ignore the dumb plots; and 2) I still can’t believe you didn’t know this major plot point by osmosis!
I think I only watched the first season. But it's been so long I don't really remember. And I have no desire to watch again. If I'm going to rewatch a Kyle Chandler show, it'll be Early Edition.
