I watched Tim Miller on the Bulwark, after his righteous indignation display, when Pres. Biden pardoned Hunter, I done with him. Not a sound when Trump pardoned Manafort, Flynn, Kushner. Never Trump Repubs are not pro-democrats. Everyone knows why Hunter was pardoned, retribution by Trump.
I have a theory as to why the never Trumpers are at odds with him. Traditionally Republicans have always been lead by the Aristocracy, well bred, educated Harvard, Yale Alumni. Then comes along Trump, whom they considered a baffoon, Neanderthal, unprincipled, bombastic, disruptive, character.
The status quo never accepted him, but felt with their superior intellect they would be able to control him; he would be useful to them to maintain their power structure. So they took the snake into their bosom, and got bitten and displaced,Trump took the reins of power over the Republican Party
Away from them, the Republican Party is now Maga under his total control. That is why they are never Trumpers, he disrupted the status quo by taking their power away from them, does not abide by any rules.
After watching Law&Order on repeat for so many yrs. I went to Dateline. The show w real atty #KellySiegler is good. She helps families solve old murders. My family has had 2 ppl murdered in the course of my lifetime. I find it satisfying when families get justice. 🕯

Then you missed the actual video and LIVE coverage of eyewitnesses, the ID of victims and of the perpetrator. Then the "onliners" picked it up from them and talked about without knowing how/if it was substantiated. I joined X back in the rela days to see REALTIME news!

Ive been limiting heavily my exposure to news in general last year. My mental state improves exponentially with avoiding news. Tv news i havent watched in along time and i certainly not missing it. Its hard the first weeks then it becomes a breeze. Well done!

I stopped watching the day after the election. I also stopped watching the local news in my conservative Florida town, because they always have something wonderful to say about the orange man. I think this has greatly helped me get through this nightmare
Stay away from ABC, CBS, NBC and especially CNN and MSNBC. Never forget what Joe and Mika have done and continue to do. Never forget CNN continues to have far right MAGA nuts on a regular basis. Independent media is where it's at. Midas touch, Tennessee Brando, Adam Mockler, Coach etc.
The same for me but it’s ALL news channels tv and radio. It’s easy for me to stay on top of important issues through the independent journalists I follow.
It's freeing isn't it? I haven't watched TV in decades. The difference is Choice. I choose where I get my news. Especially hearing how despicable "news" has become with its billionaire ownership. Wish more would turn it off.

Me, too, pretty much, made a few exceptions to watch the A block on Lawrence on a big news day. I’m finding that I get more news from podcasts etc. It beats the MSNBC recycling of the same 3 stories ALL DAY LONG🥹
I find Kimmel a good funny filter as I sorely need humor to get me through.
Lawrence is the only one I still trust. His outrage the few weeks around the election in regards to the double standard between Trump and Kamala, was genuine.
He was the only one that consistently addressed it.

News reporters these days can’t hold a candle to the reporters of the 70s-80s. Soft unanswered questions. Not challenging misinformation. Not delving into the heart of the stories. Afraid of not being “invited” back or being labeled as fake. I long for the Walter Cronkite days
