When I visited Pokhara in Nepal, it was quite obvious that many stores there catered to stoned people. I laughed when I walked into the first convenience store and was faced with a gigantic rack of Double Stuf Oreos.
It's intense. The poverty is brutal and astonishing, but the landscapes are massive and grand and the people are delightful. Also didn't know that Kathmandu airport is one of the most dangerous places in the world to land a plane.
